Artist: Ayumi Hamasaki
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
Released : December 1, 1995
Copies Sold: Unknown
Label: Columbia Japan
Highest Position: Failed to Chart
My Ranking: ★★
Ayumi Hamasaki’s debut album with Columbia Japan. Unfortunately for her it would be her only single with Columbia Japan as they dropped her after the album failed to chart. This album was hard to review as I hardly like rap music I as a big Ayumi Hamasaki fan am glad that she went to pop music and left Hip-hop behind.

1 Litre of Tears is based on a tragic but true story followed by a diary kept. It starts of how a girl called Aya Ito begins a new semester of school. All was well until she sometimes stopped mid way of walking or lost her balanced and had tiny flinches or spazms. Only her mother noticed so she brought her to the hospital to have a check-up. Unfortunatley the doctor found out that Aya had a rare but incurable disease. Without losing hope she still has the will to go on living until her last days.
