Label: Columbia Japan

Highest Position: Failed to Chart

My Ranking: ★★

picture-111Ayumi Hamasaki’s debut album with Columbia Japan. Unfortunately for her it would be her only single with Columbia Japan as they dropped her after the album failed to chart.  This album was hard to review as I hardly like rap music I as a big Ayumi Hamasaki fan am glad that she went to pop music and left Hip-hop behind.

1 Litre of Tears is based on a tragic but true story followed by a diary kept. It starts of how a girl called Aya Ito begins a new semester of school. All was well until she sometimes stopped mid way of walking or lost her balanced and had tiny flinches or spazms. Only her mother noticed so she brought her to the hospital to have a check-up. Unfortunatley the doctor found out that Aya had a rare but incurable disease. Without losing hope she still has the will to go on living until her last days.

Hello, welcome to our blog AiPod1. AiPod1 was created by Alex(kingyohoshikuzu) and Lianna(eroprincess) so we could share or favourite music and dramas with people around the world.

On this blog we plan to review and critique Japanese music, dramas and sometimes more.  With Alex, the Japanese music lover, and Lianna, the Japanese drama lover we’ll hopefully post quality reviews to keep you updated on music and T.V. in Japan.

Of course if you’d like anything reviewed or would just like to talk to us on our views on things, comment or email us at ai-pod1@live.com.au and we’ll try to answer you as soon as possible. (If it’s possible please include a link or an mp3 in the email so we can actually see or hear the song/drama you’d like reviewed)
